The Lakeland Senior Hub is the leading local resource collective dedicated to elevating senior well-being by expanding access to vital resources and services for aging Lakeland residents and their advocates, further enhancing whole community health.
Lakeland Senior Hub uses a hub-and-spoke approach—partnering with local organizations,
non-profits, and professionals to centralize access to services and programs.
We will offer:

Executive Director
A graduate of Alverno College, Ann Marie began her career in Wisconsin. Her love for sunshine and personal growth led her to the sunshine state. Her strong background in IT and software development blended well with her passion for wellness, personal development coaching and public service. She brought that skillset and expertise to the City of Lakeland’s wellness program. This health program offered City employees wellness coaching, health checkups along with fitness and nutritional guidance. As her interest in a holistic approach to wellness and community service expanded, Ann Marie was drawn to an opportunity to work in the Tri-County’s addiction and recovery program. In this role, she was able to provide resources for those struggling with addictions.
Her passion to help develop impactful programs designed to empower the community, then led her to join the United Way in promoting the Polk Health Care Plan. Ann Marie’s commitment to serving our community has brought her to the Lakeland Senior Hub as it’s Executive Director. Working together with the Lakeland Senior Hub board and community leaders, they will be leading the charge in bring the vision of the LSH to fruition by providing a place for seniors, a place that gives them a focus on their health and well being as an active senior.
President
Don Selvage, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel, brings decades of leadership to his role as President of the Lakeland Senior Hub board of directors. A former Lakeland City Commissioner and active community volunteer, Don is passionate about supporting seniors and strengthening community connections.
Vice President
Kathy Killingsworth is a retired consultant with deep expertise in strategy, business process, and technology. A Lakeland native, she has supported the growth of numerous organizations through startup planning, operational development, and strategic guidance. Kathy is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults by fostering community connection, purpose, and engagement.
Treasurer
Greg Killingsworth is a lifelong Lakelander and accounting professional in the citrus industry for over 30 years. As Treasurer of Lakeland Senior Hub, he is driven by a desire to give back and support a central resource for seniors to stay informed, active, and connected.
Past President
Carole Phillipson is a retired healthcare executive and currently works as a consultant. She brings a wealth of leadership experience to her role as President of Lakeland Senior Hub. Carole is passionate about creating strong, sustainable systems that support healthy aging and enhance quality of life for older adults in the community.
Secretary
Allie Bates is the Community Coordinator for Age-Friendly Lakeland and brings over a decade of banking and finance experience to the board. She’s passionate about inclusive aging and uses her skills to foster meaningful community connections across generations.
Board Member
Dr. Daniel Haight is the Vice President of Community Health at Lakeland Regional Health and a Professor of Medicine at USF. With a long-standing focus on geriatric health, he supports initiatives that promote mobility, mental well-being, and medication awareness for older adults.

Scott Langston is a third-generation attorney and Lakeland native with a focus on elder law. His commitment to advocating for seniors is rooted in his lifelong concern for the needs of others and his deep connection to the Lakeland community.

Dr. Rosemarie Lamm is the founder and Executive Director of the Rath Senior ConNEXTions Center. A retired professor, nurse practitioner, and gerontology leader, she brings decades of experience championing senior wellness, education, and community-based volunteerism.

Liz Craven is the co-publisher of the ElderCare Senior Resource Guide and a longtime caregiver advocate. Through decades of personal and professional experience, she has helped families navigate the aging journey and is dedicated to building strong, supportive communities for older adults.

Veronica Rountree is a longtime community advocate with extensive experience in public service and senior engagement. She retired from the Florida Department of Health, where she worked in Adult and Youth Services, focusing on outreach and support. Veronica is deeply committed to uplifting older adults and creating community spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

Margaret Xanthopoulos is a seasoned aging services professional with a background in senior center management, hospice care, and retirement community fundraising. She is passionate about ensuring that older adults have access to the services, resources, and programs they need—right in their own communities.

Dr. Reddout is a community activist who has lent her leadership talents to multiple organizations throughout our community. She recently retired as the Executive Director of Talbot House Ministries, served as a Polk School Board member and Administrator for the Catholic Charities of Central Florida. Her passion for service and building a strong community inclusive of everyone in it, has made her a her strong advocate and respected leader recognized throughout Polk county.
Volunteer Coordinator
Lynette is a transplant’ from Colorado who loves calling Lakeland her chosen home! Lynette recently retired from a successful career in the health care system where she led a multimillion-dollar enterprise that included a tertiary care hospital and 15 locations of care along Colorado’s Front Range, providing healthcare to more than 80,000 veterans. Refusing to remain idle in retirement, Lynette has graciously volunteered to share her expertise and love for serving her
